Job Function:

Green Line Equipment in Norfolk, NE is looking for a full time Parts Person. The primary responsibility of this position will be to promote the sale of parts to Green Line Equipment customers and to provide excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone.

 
Job Essential Duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service to customers
  • Fill customer and shop parts orders
  • Assemble new hydraulic hoses and repair old ones
  • Ship and receive parts orders
  • Process, store, and locate stock-order parts
  • Inspect and process reman, warranty parts, and returns
  • Assist customers and shop with parts look-up and parts orders
  • Inventory control and organization, including perpetual inventory counts
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with others to include customers, vendors, employees and the public
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management

 
Skills & Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalency required.  The ideal candidate should have prior parts counter experience, preferably with John Deere. Experience in farming is a plus.  Working knowledge of agricultural and consumer parts is preferred.  Good communication skills are required. Must have the ability to work with others to include customers, employees, and the public.  Ability to work a flexible schedule with rotating weekends required. Ability to work extended hours during planting and harvest seasons as required.  Ability to work overtime with minimum notice.
